Environmental Compliance & Safety

Purpose

To minimize impact upon the natural environment and prevent any spread or release of contaminated or hazardous substances during the contract period in the work area.

Responsibility

We shall take the responsibility in maintaining and effective environmental planning as per the Construction Environmental Control Plan (CECP) provided by the Project Management Coordinator (PMC). Even though all our project personnel involved in the execution have the authority to stop work when unsafe conditions to human health or the environmental exist, we shall keep a person exclusively for environmental planning. He will coordinate with the Project Manager and other site personnel working in the execution area. He will be responsible for complying with, the applicable environmental commitment, procedures, restrictions and guidance specified in the CECP.

Environmental Management Controls

Even though all our project personnel involved in the execution have the authority to stop work when unsafe conditions to human health or the environmental exist, we shall keep a person exclusively for environmental planning. He will coordinate with the Project Manager and other site personnel working in the site.

A Daily Environmental Inspection Report (DIR) shall be submitted on day today basis to the Project Manager as per the format provided in the document.

The Environmental Engineer shall check the submittals to be submitted on the Environmental Plan and take necessary actions if anything has to be done. He also shall conduct Environmental Awareness Training to the site personnel for better safety of the human and minimize potential adverse impacts to the environment.
